Both watches have a similar [[wandering hours]] display of time [[Jumping hours]] are displayed through an aperture in a disc that travels a 120ยบ arc to indicate the quarters and half-hours. Both watches also feature novel plain cases with unmarked centers. This would form the basis for future "Ur-Satellite" models from Urwerk and would become the company's signature complication. Unlike following models, UR-101 and UR-102 featured an [[automatic]] movement operating at a frequency of 28,800 A/h. Power reserve was 44 hours. The UR-101 and UR-102 were replaced by the [[UR-103]], introduced in [[2003]]. ===== Versions ===== * UR-101 features an asymmetrical case said to be reminiscent of the Millenium Falcon of Star Wars fame. The top lugs are hidden under the case, while the bottom features two conventional lugs. The case measures 38 mm in diameter and is 13 mm high. * UR-102 has a circular case with four lug horns top and bottom. Urwerk claimed inspiration from the Sputnik space probe. The case is also 38 mm in diameter but is 12 mm thick. * UR-102 "Night Watch" was introduced in [[1999]] and is similar to UR-102 but with a [[ceramic]]ized anodized aluminum case in black.
