====== Valanvron VAL-24 ======
The **valanvron VAL-24** is an [[ETA 2824]]-compatible [[automatic]] movement from [[Valanvron]].

Although it appears to be based on a Chinese-made [[Sea-Gull]] [[ST2130]] [[ebauche]], Valanvron remanufactures and modifies it [[Swiss|in accordance to Swiss law]] to qualify the movement as "Swiss". This likely means that the ebauches are reassembled in Switzerland with at least 50% Swiss parts (by value) replaced or added, and the movement is inspected in Switzerland. Like the 2824, the VAL-24 is 25.60 mm in diameter and 4.60 mm high. It includes hours, minutes, and sweep second and is [[self-winding]] with ball bearings. It includes a [[quickset]] date, [[hacking]] second hand, and Novodiac shock absorption. Also like the 2824, the VAL-24 uses 28,800 vibrations per hour and has 25 jewels.
