**Calibre 1400** is a [[manufacture]] [[hand-winding]] movement from [[Vacheron Constantin]] first produced in [[2004]].

===== Overview =====
Vacheron Constantin long relied on [[ebauche]] movements from [[Jaeger-LeCoultre]], [[F. Piguet]], and [[Audemars Piguet]], but in [[2004]] they unveiled their first in-house [[hand-winding]] movement. Cal. 1400 is a basic time-only movement, with modern 28,800 A/h frequency and compact 20.65 mm (9 ligne) diameter. It is quite thin, measuring just 2.60 mm, and is made up of just 98 components. It has 20 [[jewel]]s and bears the [[Geneva Hallmark]].

It was used in [[Vacheron Constantin Patrimony|Patrimony]] and [[Vacheron Constantin Traditionelle|Traditionelle]] models.

===== Cal. 1400 AS =====
The similar **Cal. 1400 AS** features [[small seconds]] at 6 00. The size, number of components, power reserve, and jewels remains the same as the basic Cal. 1400. It was used in the [[Vacheron Constantin Malte|"Small Model" Malte]] watches.

===== Cal. 1410 =====
The similar **Cal. 1410** features a [[power reserve indicator]] at 10 30, [[moon phase indicator]] at 8 30, and [[small seconds]] at 6 00. This adds a bit to the size of the movement, now measuring 26.00 mm in diameter. It was used in the [[Vacheron Constantin Traditionelle Moon Phase|Traditionelle Moon Phase]] models.
