Cal. VMF 5400 measures 13¼ [[ligne]] (30.0 mm) in diameter and is 3.0 mm thick. It has a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. The [[micro-rotor]] [[automatic]] winding system is uni-directional. The [[variable inertia]] [[balance]] uses a [[flat balance spring]] attached to a [[mobile stud carrier]].

Calibre VMF 5400 is used by a number of watch brands, including parent [[Parmigiani Fleurier]], [[Hermès]], and [[Richard Mille]].
