**Watch Museum Ruhla** (Uhrenmuseum Ruhla)

On the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the [[Ruhla]] watch industry in [[2002]] the **Ruhlaer Uhrenmuseum** was opened by the company [[Gardé|Gardé watches and precision engineering GmbH]]. Covering an area of 150 square meters more than 1000 watches and 13 functional machines, machines and models are presented, all of which were developed and produced the [[Ruhla]].

  On 30 panels visitors learn many details about the art of watchmaking and the company's history.
