**Joseph Thaddäus Winnerl** was an Austrian watchmaker and manufacturer of [[chronometer]]s.

He was born on 25 January [[1799]] in Mureg/Styria. From [[1835]] to [[1840]] [[Lange, Ferdinand Adolph|Ferdinand Adolph Lange]] worked for Winnerl in Paris.

Joseph Thaddeus Winnerl died on 27th January [[1886]] in Paris.
