Benedom was a holding company for Favre-Leuba and Dior in the 1980s.
Benedom acquired the Favre-Leuba brand from SAPHIR Group around 1978. It later acquired the license to produce watches under the Dior and Céline brands.
On June 30, 1995, Dior purchased Benedom from the Baccardi-Martini Group to become part of LVMH.
