Cabestan

Cabestan is a Swiss high-end watch maker launched in 2003.

Formed in 2003, Cabestan takes its name from the capstan or winch that collects the chain in a fusée-and-chain mechanism. The company's first iconic model was the Cabestan Winch Tourbillon Vertical of 2008 which emphasized this complication. Cabestan is known for extremely limited-production haute horlogerie pieces with unique in-house movements and designs.

Cabestan is associated with the Romain Jerome brand and Prix Gaïa-winning watchmaker Eric Coudray, who created the Jaeger-LeCoultre Gyrotourbillon.
