Cam-poised balance

A Cam-poised balance is a special variant of the balance in a mechanical movement. Similar to a screw balance, the rate of the watch is regulated by changing the weight distribution directly at the balance, but here not by turning screws vertically sunk into the balance rim, but by turning adjusting weights (“eccentric poising weights”) located inside.
