Gosteli, Paul

Paul Gosteli was a Swiss watchmaker.

Gosteli worked in the 1920s in Sonvilier, near La Chaux-de-Fonds. In 1921 he registered the watch brand Stepp and manufactured watches in the Art Deco style. In the mid-1950's he invented and patented the principle of the peripheral rotor for self-winding watches, which was later revived by Carl F. Bucherer.
