Patek Philippe Nautilus Moon Phase 3712

The Nautilus Moon Phase Ref. 3712 is a sports watch by Patek Philippe, introduced in 2005 and retired in 2006 with the introduction of the new Nautilus 5712/1.

This is the single-year moon phase version of the original Nautilus from the first generation of the Nautilus family.

Like the rest of the Patek Philippe Nautilus family, Ref. 3712 has the well-known integrated and water-tight “porthole” case penned by Gérald Genta.

Introduced in 2005, the Nautilus Ref. 3712 was the first real complicated Nautilus. It includes a power reserve indicator inside the 11 00 position on the dial like the 3710/1A but adds a subdial with date pointer and moon phase. This watch uses the Cal. 240 PS automatic movement with a micro rotor and is the first Nautilus model to include a sapphire crystal on the back so the movement can be viewed.

The Nautilus Ref. 3712 is highly sought-after today because it lasted in production for only one model year, 2005, before the entire line was replaced in 2006 by the new Nautilus 5712/1.
