In parallel with the model [[Breitling Superocean|Superocean]] in [[2005]] Breitling launched the **Superocean Steelfish**, which is [[waterproof]] to 1,500 m and today is counted to the //Aeromarine// model range.

On the occasion of the enlargement of the case to 44 mm diameter and the depth to 2,000 meters the watch was called **Superocean Steelfish X-Plus**. Since [[2007]] it again bears the original name.
