PVD is the abbreviation for “physical vapor deposition”. This is a method by which a wide variety of materials can be vaporized steel, aluminum, gold, silver, platinum, tin, nickel, chromium, copper and oxides. More precisely ion particles from the source material of the watch are exchanged through ones with “different color”.
