JLC 977

The JLC 977 is an automatic dual timezone movement from Jaeger-LeCoultre.

Introduced in 2006 with the Reverso Squadra Hometime, the Calibre 977 was one of the first automatic movements used in a Reverso watch.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Autotractor family of movements is often referred to as “the 970 family”, and Calibre 977 should be included in this family, since it includes the same elements as the familiar JLC 975. Calibre 977 is very closely related to Calibre 970, used in the Reverso Grande Automatique, but that watch adds a big date complication.

The JLC 977 is made up of 234 pieces and features 29 jewels. It runs at 28,800 vph and has a power reserve of 45 hours.
