The legendary German entrepreneur Carl Friedrich Wilhelm Borgward created the brand Borgward between 1939 and 1963 in and around Bremen and produced automibiles and trucks.
Borgward watches takes on the tradition of automobiles in a congenial manner, using the appearance and style of interiors, colors and materials of the 1950s. The watches are produced in Efringen-Kirchen, not far from Lörrach and Basel. Owner and producer of the watch brand Borgward is Jürgen Betz. The traditional connection with the former automobile plant Borgward is maintained by a studio in Bremen.
Borgward also hosts watch seminars where attendees can assemble Borgward watches of the Expert series by themselves.
