Andreas Huber founded a watch store in Munich on October 13 1856, having just received an inheritance of 3000 gulden, with this money in the Roeckl House at Karlsplatz number four.
In the Munich vernacular, it was always referred to as “Uhren Huber”. In the late 1990s, the company, which had three branches in the center of Munich, was renamed “Andreas Huber”.
