Charles Félicien Tissot (1804-1873) was a watchmaker from Switzerland, who, together with his son Charles Emile Tissot, founded a pocket watch factory in Le Locle in 1853 and thus laid the foundation for the watch manufacturer Tissot. The watches were initially manufactured in etablissage processing.
