Günter Blümlein
Gunter Blumlein was born on 21 March 1943 in Nuremberg. His career began at the watchmaking company Junghans. In 1981 he joined IWC in Schaffhausen. On 7 December 1990 together with Walter Lange he founded the Lange Uhren GmbH in Glashütte/Saxony and thus helped the brand A. Lange & Söhne to a glorious comeback after the “change”.
In 1996, Günter Blümlein received the prestigious Prix Gaïa Esprit d'Entreprise award.
Gunter Blumlein died on 1 October 2001 in Schaffhausen .
