Palladium

Palladium is a precious metal.

Already in 2005 Parmigiani Fleurier caused a sensation with a world premiere a watch made of palladium 950. This metal, which is as noble as platinum and still more noble than gold (with -950- palladium has a higher purity than gold -750-), had been largely a mystery for watchmakers, as they did not know how pure palladium could be processed.

Palladium has all the qualities of a high quality metal It is light, does not oxidize in contact with oxygen and is antiallergic. Because palladium is naturally very white, no rhodium plating is needed to produce a perfect aesthetic.
