Piguet, Jacques

Jacques Piguet is a Swiss watch producer.

The son of the ebauche movement manufacturer Frederic Piguet, Jacques Piguet, together with Jean-Claude Biver revitalized the brand Blancpain as a manufacturer of luxury watches with mechanical watches in 1983. They provided an important impetus for the then incipient renaissance of mechanical watches that seemed largely written off during the so-called quartz crisis.
