Panama automat s1 (Reference RB 17) is a wristwatch by Rainer Brand.

A modern model in the well-known Panama series. A restrained, understated, and refined design in the style for which Rainer Brand is known.

Movement:

  • Mechanical movement with automatic winding ⋅ Date window ⋅ Center seconds with stop-seconds mechanism ⋅ Caliber SW 400 Premium, regulated in 5 positions
  • Wheel bridge, barrel bridge, balance cock, and automatic bridge, as well as the rotor, are sandblasted and rhodium-plated
  • Power reserve of 42 hours when fully wound

Case:

  • Stainless steel, middle section satin-finished, bezel high-gloss polished and hardened
  • The case back is engraved, each watch individually numbered
  • The domed sapphire crystal is colorless with a hard anti-reflective coating; the case back also features a sapphire crystal viewing window
  • Ø 40 mm, H 11.4 mm
  • Water resistance 10 bar

Dial:

  • The dial appears three-dimensional due to its two-level design ⋅ Fine steel hands, high-gloss polished; on the matte white dial, they are temper-blued
  • Extra-wide date window

Strap:

  • Leather strap with pin buckle, optionally available with a folding clasp or a steel Milanese bracelet
