The EZM 12 (Einsatzzeitmesser 12) is a wristwatch from Sinn.

This model was developed specifically for air rescue services.

Technical features include:

Every rescue mission by emergency medical personnel is a fight for human lives—and against the clock. After all, the “Platinum Ten Minutes” and the “Golden Hour” dictate the course of action. This means a patient should arrive at a hospital no later than one hour after the accident. A critically ill patient should even be treated and transported within 10 minutes.

For this life-saving mission, Sinn has developed the EZM 12 emergency timer. With the upward-counting inner rotating bezel, emergency medical personnel can keep the aforementioned time categories in view at all times. The downward-counting outer rotating bezel can be used, for example, to monitor medication administration times. The integrated pulse scale— in combination with the rotor-shaped second hand—allows for quick determination of heart rate in 15-second intervals. With the EZM 12, emergency responders have a powerful tool that can make a significant contribution to saving lives.

The watch was honored with the “Excellent Product Design 2020” award at the German Design Award and with the Red Dot Product Design Award 2019.
