Martin Braun is a watchmaker, founder of the Martin Braun company, and currently operates under the Antoine Martin brand.
Martin Braun rose to prominence after becoming a Master Watchmaker in 1991, restoring antique watches from the likes of A. Lange & Söhne. He became known for his work with complicated watches.
In 2000, Braun launched his own watch brand, Martin Braun. His first piece, the Martin Braun EOS, gained wide acclaim.
In 2007, Braun brought his brand under the Watchland umbrella of Franck Muller in Geneva.
Braun decided to leave Muller's company in 2009, leaving the Martin Braun brand behind. He launched a new brand, Antoine Martin in 2012, and Manufacture Horlogère Obwald in Alpnach near Lucerne.
