FC-700

The calibre FC-700 is an automatic movement from Frederique Constant.

Calibre FC-700 is Frederique Constant's second in-house manufacture movement after the original FC-910. Called by the company the “Maxime Manufacture Automatic”, the FC-700 was introduced in 2009 and lacks the company's trademark open heart design. A second-generation model, FC-710, adds central seconds and was introduced in 2012.

Unlike the open tourbillon in the original Frederique Constant movement, the FC-700 is a simple and classic movement. Running at 28,800 A/h, the 26 jewel movement has just central sweep hour and minute hands and a date subdial at 6 00.

The same movement is used by sister company Alpina as their AL-950.

FC-705

The FC-705 is a very similar movement with a moon phase indicator in the 12 00 subdial along with the date hand.
