Lange L944

Lange L941.1 is a caliber by A. Lange & Söhne.

Hand-wound manufacture movement with small seconds.

The movement was produced exclusively for the 1815 Sidestep model, a limited version which was produced in 2003 for the 125th anniversary of the Wempe watch department store.

The fully hand-engraved three-quarter plate can be considered an impressive feature of the movement. The pattern is inspired by the rose decoration of Meissen porcelain.
