“The Crow and the Fox” Automaton Ref. 5249 is a wristwatch by Patek Philippe.

In 2026 presents Patek Philippe the first automaton wristwatch in its contemporary history, inspired by a pocket watch designed by Louis Cottier in 1958, which is shown at the Patek Philippe Museum. Based on Jean de La Fontaine's fable “The Crow and the Fox”, this model displays the hours and minutes on demand.

The animation is performed on the surface of a rose gold Officer’s-style case and a brown “Matara” dial.

The watch is powered by the self-winding caliber 31-260 PS HMD AU.
