The name "Montbrillant"

The name “Montbrillant” derives from the Rue Mont Brilliant, a street in the watchmaker town of La Chaux-de-Fonds, where Léon Breitling opened his watch factory in 1892 after relocating from Saint-Imier.

The pilot's chronograph Montbrillant by Breitling is a chronograph from the Navitimer series with classic appeal. Current models of this series are chronometer-certified. As a dial emblem it bears, unlike most other Breitling models, not the winged “B”, but a curved logo with the brand name in the style of the 1940s or 1950s.
