Clockmakers' Company

The Clockmakers' Company is an English watchmaker association.

The Clockmakers' Company is a time-honored association of watchmakers in the City of London, which was already founded in 1631 on the edict of King Charles I. Its official name is Worshipful Company of Clockmakers. Originally no one who was not a member of this association was allowed to sell watches. Today it is a charitable association.

The motto of the association is Tempus Rerum Imperator, in English Time is the ruler of all things.
