Georges-Auguste Leschot was a Swiss watchmaker and engineer (1800-1884).

Son of Jean-Frédéric Leschot. Inventor of the mass production of high quality watch parts at Vacheron Constantin (Pantograph, 1838) and other important achievements in watchmaking history.

1845 Leschot and the manufacture Vacheron Constantin is awarded the coveted prize “Auguste de la Rive” by the “Geneva Société des Arts” as a recognition for special pioneering achievements in the field of watchmaking.
