The Union des Branches Annexes de l'Horlogerie was an organization of Swiss watch component manufacturers. Founded in 1927, it represented producers of both functional and exterior parts of a watch in Switzerland. The makers of movement blanks (notably Ebauches SA) were not included in UBAH. Completed watches were created by companies represented by the Fédération Horlogère Suisse (FH) or Roskopf Association. The organization was sometimes called the “Union of Allied Trades of the Watch Industry” in English.
By the 1980s, the organization was commonly called the “Union of Watch Spare Parts Manufacturers”, reflecting the consolidation of the industry. In 1982, the UBAH became a member of the new Fédération de l'Industrie Horlogère Suisse (FH).
