Pythagore

Pythagore is a watch model name used by multiple companies, often in reference to the so-called “golden ratio”.

Overview

Pythagoras is often credited with discovering the Golden Ratio, though it was widely known before him. But this association persisted, as did the belief that the relationship between roughly 1.6 and 1 was a universally-recognized harmonious one. For this reason, many jewelry and watch companies have used this relationship in their designs, from the classic Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso to today.
