Chronode
Chronode is a specialist developer of mechanical watch movements and complications based in Le Locle and founded in 2005.
Overview
Chronode specializes in research and development of specialist watch movements, modules, and complications. The company is closely associated with its founder, Jean-François Mojon, and has designed complicated watches for Harry Winston (the Opus X), MB&F, HYT, and others.
After its foundation in 2005, Chronode and Mojon have been involved in many horological advancements, including the hydraulic HYT and altimiter complications in the Breva. Chronode established a parts manufacturer, DMP SA, in 2008. In 2014, Chronode merged with Compagnie Horlogère Locloise to become the modern Chronode SA.
Today the company is capable of design, prototyping, finishing, assembling, and servicing high-end watches.

- HYT H1 (2012) - HYT won the Innovation Watch Prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève for the H1 Titane DLC in November, 2012
- Czapek & Cie SXH1 movement - Czapek Genève won the Public Prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève for the Quai des Bergues No. 33bis with Cal. SXH1 in November, 2016.
