Moritz by Sachsen is a wristwatch by Lang & Heyne.
Elector Moritz of Saxony was one of the most important rulers of Saxony. At the young age of 32, he was fatally wounded in the battle of Sievershausen and entombed in the cathedral of Freiberg (which from this time on was the burial place of all Saxon rulers).
The watch combines all calendar functions of a full calendar indication. The solid silver dial is, according to the tradition, pickled white and then dyed champagne. The moon disc, as well as the earth disc is cut in gold and colored in champlevé enamel technique.
Like the other models of Lang & Heyne also this one is available in three different gold colors (white, yellow, rose) and with different hand variations.
The earth disc is available in three variants with the European/African, the Asian/Australian and the American view.
