Franck Muller is a Swiss/Italian watchmaker and founder of the Franck Muller brand.
Biography
The watchmaker Franck Muller is born on 11 July 1958 as son of an Italian and a Swiss. From a young age, he is an exceptional talent. After three years of training at the School of Watchmaking in Geneva he works at the famous watchmaker Svend Andersen and at major Swiss watch manufacturers. His ability to miniaturize complications has already spread with 24 years, and he receives orders to restore valuable watches of the major top brands such as Patek Philippe, Breguet, Lange & Söhne and Vacheron Constantin.
In 1991, aged only 33 years, Muller went into business for himself, together with the Geneva casing and gem expert Vartan Sirmakes, founding the company Technowatch SA in Genthod, near Geneva. This soon became known simply as Franck Muller, with the group growing to include many other watchmakers and eponymous brands.
