Speedmaster Date Olympic Timeless Collection is a chronograph series by Omega.
On the occasion of the Olympic Games 2008 Omega launched the series Olympic Timeless Collection . The watches recall the first Omega chronographs, which have been used at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles 1932 for measuring time, when Omega was in charge of the official timing for the first time. The new chronographs bear the Omega logo customary with the early models and the Omega logo in red. In addition, each watch has the inscription “Official Timekeeper” stamped on the caseback.
The model shown here is a variant of the chronograph Speedmaster Date from the series Omega Speedmaster. It is powered by the automatic chronograph calibre Omega 1152, based on the known and proven calibre ETA/Valjoux 7750.
