Zenith 420

Calibre 420 is a hand-wound chronograph movement from Zenith. Released in the 1990's, this was the first hand-wound version of the classic El Primero movement.

Overview

As the El Primero renaissance continued in the 1990's, Zenith modified the movement to remove the innovative automatic winding mechanism. The resulting Cal. 420 is in other ways similar to the contemporary Cal. 400, with a three-register chronograph counter setup and quickset date.
