Hessian Watchmaking School

The Hessian Watchmaking School (Hessische Uhrmacherschule) in Frankfurt/M. was founded in 1951 by Karl Geitz as “Country Specialist Class” (Landesfachklasse) of watchmakers at the Heinrich-Kleyer School. 2004 came the move to the open-air museum Hessenpark in Neu-Anspach. In addition to technical and theoretical training of master watchmakers also seminars for interested amateurs and watch enthusiasts are offered by the school since 1999.
