With the brand new El Primero Stratos Flyback Striking 10th chronograph the extreme athlete has achieved a speed of 1,342 km/h with his jump from the stratosphere.
Thus he became the first person in history who has broken through the sound barrier in freefall. Baumgartner has set the following records and collected important scientific data in order to make space travel safer in the future
