In parallel with the model Superocean in 2005 Breitling launched the Superocean Steelfish, which is waterproof to 1,500 m and today is counted to the Aeromarine model range.
On the occasion of the enlargement of the case to 44 mm diameter and the depth to 2,000 meters the watch was called Superocean Steelfish X-Plus. Since 2007 it again bears the original name.
