Introduced in October 2013, the Nomos DUW 1001 movement is a high-end offering from the company. It features hand engraving and decoration and is used in more expensive Lambda watches.

DUW 1001 is a manually wound double barrel movement with power reserve of approximately 84 hours. It has small seconds at 6 00 and a power reserve indicator at 12 00. Running at 21,600 A/h, it has 29 jewels and a Nivarox 1A balance spring. Nomos boasts chronometer-like accuracy, though it is not certified, with a swan-neck precision regulator.
