Ref. 836 is a large, slim anti-magnetic wristwatch produced by Sinn since 2018.

Introduced at Baselworld in 2018, Ref. 836 has a large 43 mm case just 10.6 mm thick. The dial is plain, with simple markers and a date window inset above the marker at 6 00. The stainless steel case is treated with Sinn's TEGIMENT hardening process and is magnetic resistant to 80,000 A/m. The crystal is coated sapphire.

Ref. 836 uses the slim ETA 2892A2 movement, one of the least-expensive watches with this movement. The list price at launch was $1,790 or $2,050 with a matching bracelet.

Both the 836 and 936 chronograph have the look of a pilot's watch but are not characterized as such by Sinn. Instead, the company emphasizes the magnetic resistance and refers to them as “instrument” watches.
