The Aeternitas Mega 4 is a highly complicated wristwatch by Franck Muller.

Info

After five years development time Franck Muller proved with this incredible, in 2009 finished Grande Complication once again, that he deserves to be called “Master of Complications”, and rightly so. The most complicated wristwatch of the world at that time has 36 complications (25 of them visible), a secular perpetual calendar for 1,000 years, and the movement consists, believe it or not, of 1,483 components.

The housing has the three-dimensional incurvated form “Cintrée Curvex”, well known from Franck Muller.

The watch costed 2,700,000 US-Dollars. It was sold in November 2009 in Monaco to the passionate watch collector Michael J. Gould from Colorado, USA. It was handed over to him in a celebration, which was attended by Franck Muller, Vartan Sirmakes and further 400 invited guests.
