The 1815 Kalenderwoche (Calendar Week) is a luxury watch from A. Lange & Söhne.
This lavish wristwatch was released 2006 in collaboration with the long-established Munich watch store Andreas Huber on the occasion of its 150th anniversary. It offers the highest manufacture quality with the following features: Hand-wound manufacture movement caliber L045.1 with hour and minute display. Unusual is the combination week of the year (calendar week) and weekday, which gives the watch its name: A hand running along the outer edge of the dial shows the week of the year (1-52/53), a small hand at 6 shows the day of the week and the small seconds.
The movement bears the inscription “Andreas Huber München 1856-2006”.
The number 1815 in the name of the watch refers to the date of birth of the brand's founder Ferdinand Adolph Lange, who was born in Dresden on 18 February 1815.
